It’s been another year of exciting changes for us at Speer & Sons Nursery.  We’re happy to report that we’re expanding our operations to Canby, Oregon, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Our new Canby farm has everything we need to be able to grow in the coming years and become an even more productive nursery.  The infrastructure will allow us to serve you better with even more space, and that space will allow us to offer an even larger selection of products.  

​

In addition to more field space, our Canby farm has two particular features that we’re very excited about: a sizable greenhouse area and a large pot-in-pot field.  We’ll use the greenhouse space to get back to our roots and do our own propagation.  And thanks to the pot-in-pot field, we’ll soon be able to offer you potted trees in addition to our bareroot inventory.  We would love to get your input on what you’d like to see in pots!

Another perk of this new farm?  It gives us a great excuse to bring you out and give you a tour, and touring season is right around the corner.  If you’re planning a trip to Oregon please let us know.  We would love to see you and show you around.
